DEDLINE House Rules
The current Guest Terms and Conditions describe your rights, responsibilities, and key guidelines when visiting our workspace, whether as a tour guest or as a member.
Respect the Creative Environment
At DEDLINE, we believe that creativity thrives in an environment where respect and personal space are prioritized. Every individual needs room to work effectively. Be considerate of others by giving them enough space to focus, and when you’re joining a conversation or collaborative session, ensure it’s the right time. Refrain from browsing through others’ belongings or interrupting them during deep work sessions. We’re all here to create, and maintaining respect for each other’s space and concentration is key to making that happen.
Minimize Noise and Distractions
While we understand that some background noise is unavoidable, we ask that you maintain a level of quiet that doesn’t distract those around you. If you’re listening to music, always use headphones, and keep your phone on silent to avoid disrupting others. In our shared work areas, please be mindful of conversations—keep them at a low volume. Respecting the need for focus helps us all be more productive.
Inclusivity and Mutual Respect
DEDLINE is more than just a workspace; it’s a community that thrives on diversity, inclusion, and mutual respect. We are committed to providing a space where all individuals—regardless of their background, gender, race, or orientation—feel welcome and valued. Discriminatory, offensive, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. We’re here to create an environment where everyone can succeed, and that starts with respecting each other.
Keep Your Belongings Safe and Secure
While DEDLINE provides secure storage areas and 24/7 surveillance in common areas, we encourage all members to be vigilant about their personal belongings. Ensure your items are stored safely and do not leave valuables unattended. Should you lose anything, notify our staff immediately, and we’ll do our best to assist in locating your lost items. However, remember that you are ultimately responsible for your belongings.
Cleanliness and Respect for Shared Spaces
All members are expected to keep their workstations and communal areas clean and tidy. When using the Lounge, ensure that dishes are washed and returned, and any food or drink spills are cleaned immediately. Respect the workspace and treat it as you would your own. We employ a cleaning staff, but each member has a role in maintaining the space.
Dress Code and Comfort
DEDLINE is a professional environment, but it is also a comfortable and creative one. We encourage everyone to dress in a way that reflects that balance. Please avoid clothing that could make others feel uncomfortable. While there is no formal dress code, we do ask that you be mindful of your attire in shared areas to maintain a level of professionalism and respect.
Safety and Security
DEDLINE takes safety seriously. All members must familiarize themselves with the fire drill procedures displayed throughout the space. In case of an emergency, follow the posted evacuation routes. Our security team is on-site to assist with any issues, and our surveillance cameras ensure a secure environment. Remember, your safety and the safety of others depend on following the rules and being aware of your surroundings.
Respect for the Workspace and Equipment
All equipment, furniture, and resources provided at DEDLINE are there for the benefit of all members. Please treat everything with care. If you accidentally damage anything, report it to our staff immediately. We expect everyone to use the space responsibly to maintain it in top condition for all.
Confidentiality and Privacy
Working in a shared space means respecting the confidentiality of others. Members at DEDLINE will often work on confidential and sensitive projects. To maintain a trustworthy and respectful environment, we require all members to uphold the highest level of discretion. Any information, designs, strategies, or discussions taking place within the space must be treated with utmost privacy. It is vital to avoid sharing or misusing any sensitive information overheard. As a community built on trust, respecting the confidentiality of others is not just encouraged—it is mandatory for all members.
Terms of Internet and WIFI Use
Our wireless network is available to all members, but it is provided on an “as is” basis. While we take every precaution to ensure a secure connection, we cannot guarantee the safety of information transmitted over our network. Make sure your devices have up-to-date antivirus software, and avoid visiting unsecured or inappropriate websites. Misuse of the network may result in suspension of your access.
Membership Expectations and Conduct
All members are expected to adhere to these House Rules. Failure to comply may result in warnings or, in severe cases, suspension of membership. We want to maintain a positive, creative, and respectful environment, and that depends on everyone following the rules. We reserve the right to modify these rules at any time to better serve our community.
