Teams Room – Terms of Use
Eligibility & Access
- The Teams Room is available exclusively to DEDLINE members under eligible plans (Day Breaker, Accelerator, Resident, and Teams Members) and their approved guests.
- Use of the room is personal and non-transferable; members may not sublet, resell, or transfer their booking rights to third parties.
- Access to the Teams Room is only permitted during the confirmed booking time and within DEDLINE’s operational hours.
Booking & Cancellation
- All Teams Room bookings must be made in advance through DEDLINE’s official booking channels (website, mobile, email, or reception) and are subject to availability and approval.
- Bookings are confirmed only upon 50% payment or as per agreed invoicing terms. Unpaid or partially paid bookings may be cancelled by DEDLINE.
- Cancellations are non-refundable; however, the paid amount stays as booking credit for up to 1 month.
- DEDLINE reserves the right to cancel bookings in case of emergencies, operational issues, or policy breaches. In such cases, members will be offered a refund or reschedule.
Purpose of Use
- The Teams Room is intended for professional and creative activities such as: creative storming, screenings, online Teams/Zoom calls, remote work sessions, private meetings, seminars, conference meetings, pitches, and confidential briefings.
- The room may not be used for unlawful, offensive, or unethical activities, nor for any purpose that could damage DEDLINE’s reputation or disturb the wider community.
- Any public events, workshops, or gatherings beyond a standard meeting must be pre-approved by DEDLINE.
Conduct & Workspace Etiquette
- Members must maintain a respectful, professional atmosphere inside and around the Teams Room.
- Noise should be kept at a reasonable level. Loud music, shouting, or disruptive behavior is not permitted and may result in termination of the booking.
- Food and beverages are allowed only as per DEDLINE’s guidelines and must not cause mess, odour, or damage to furnishings or equipment.
- Members are responsible for their guests’ conduct and must ensure all attendees comply with these terms.
Confidentiality & Privacy
- Members are expected to treat all discussions, materials, and information shared or overheard inside the Teams Room as confidential.
- It is strictly prohibited to record, disclose, or misuse any confidential or sensitive information related to other members, clients, or DEDLINE without proper authorization.
- DEDLINE will not access or monitor meeting content except when required by law or for safety/security reasons.
- Personal data collected for bookings and access will be handled in line with DEDLINE’s Privacy Policy and applicable laws in Jordan.
Use of Equipment, Internet & Facilities
- The Teams Room may be equipped with screens, connectivity ports, and other audiovisual tools. Members must use all equipment with care and only for its intended purpose.
- Any changes to setup (cabling, mounting, moving devices) must be approved by DEDLINE staff.
- Wi-Fi and internet access are provided “as is.” DEDLINE is not responsible for technical issues, downtime, or data loss. Members are responsible for securing their own devices and data.
- Members may not use DEDLINE’s network for illegal downloads, hacking, or any activity that violates local law or third-party rights.
Damages, Fees & Penalties
- Members are fully responsible for any damage caused to the Teams Room, equipment, or surrounding areas by themselves or their guests.
Any repair, replacement, or extra cleaning costs resulting from misuse, negligence, or excessive mess will be billed to the responsible member.
- Unauthorized overtime use beyond the booked slot may incur additional hourly charges at DEDLINE’s applicable rate.
- Failure to settle due amounts (including damages, overtime, or penalties) may result in suspension of access, cancellation of future bookings, or termination of membership.
Security, Surveillance & Lost Property
- DEDLINE may use CCTV and access-control systems in common areas for safety and security. By using the Teams Room, members acknowledge and accept the presence of such security measures.
- DEDLINE is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to any personal belongings brought into the Teams Room or the wider space.
- Items left behind may be stored for a limited period and then disposed of or donated at DEDLINE’s discretion.
- In cases of serious policy breach, unsafe behavior, or disruption, DEDLINE reserves the right to ask members and their guests to leave the premises immediately, without refund.
Amendments to Terms
- DEDLINE reserves the right to update or amend these Teams Room Terms of Use at any time.
- Members will be informed of any significant changes through the website, email, or in-space notices.
- Continued use or booking of the Teams Room after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Acceptance of Terms
- By booking or using the Teams Room, the member acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use.
- Confirming a booking through the website or any DEDLINE channel is considered explicit acceptance of these terms on behalf of the member and their guests.
